THE 'UNWANTED' BUT THE MOST 'WANTED' PRECIOUS THING "Hey!!Ramu, come here.You are already late.Come,Drink this glass of milk",shouted his mother."No,Ma,I don't need it now.Please,let me go"Ramu said.Ramu was an extraordinary student.He is brilliant in his academics as well as in co-curricular.Heis one of the pampered student of his teachers and everyone like Ramu very much.His father is a farmer and his mother is a house wife.He is the only child for his parents.As usual,they pamper him a lot.
Ramu's parents worked hard to take care of him.His parents wants to see him as a doctor.They save all their earnings to acheive Ramu the position of a doctor in the society.
One day,After his classes Ramu came back to home.The front door of his house was locked,so he went to the back door and overheard his parents talking."I wanted to see him as a doctor"his father said."Whether he had a dream of doing another graduation?" his mother said."No way my son will obey me,I had a lot of dreams which he will make true" his father said with a slight smile on his face.Ramu realized his parents wishes about his life and took a decision to make his parents dreams come true as he loved his parents that much.
Ramu grown up,completed his schooling as the topper of the school he studied.He went to the coaching classes at Kota for AIIMS.His father worked day and night to meet his coaching expenses.The health of his father became weak day by day.But,not considering his health he worked hard for his son.
One year passed,Ramu passed the entrance exam with a good rank.He went to AIIMS,NewDelhi for his graduation.His parents is so happy,as they conquered the earth and heaven.
Days and years passed,Ramu finally completed his graduation and post graduation in Medicine.During,all these years there was not a single day in his life without writing letter to his parents as he is so fond of them.The health of his father became weak and finally he passed away leaving Ramu and his mother alone.That incident was a shock to Ramu.He fall into great depression.When his mother saw his face,she became sad as he is no longer the old Ramu.So she compelled him toget married as she thought the girl would bring a magic to his life.
Everyday,his mother forced him to get married,but he refused.He earned a job at one of the most popular hospitals in the city.After a month,he said his mother that he is ready to get married.His mother was happy to hear the news and kissed on his forehead as he is not still recovered from the depression.
Years passed,Ramu got married and had a child now.His wife is the duaghter of a rich man of the nearby village.Ramu earned a lot, became one of the wealthiest man of the village and one of the prominent doctors of the city.He got some new dimensions about his life.The ego and complex in his mind started growing slowly thinking that he is something.
His mother stays with him and his family.One day,his mother was suffering from severe cough and cold.Ramu prescribed his mother some medicines and asked the maid to buy all those medicines and give to his mother.He no longer paid attention or asked her how she is feeling as he was in a hurry about a meeting.His mother felt very sad.
One day,he heard his mother coughing and sneezing in the open air when his friends and collegues was there at the house.He scolded his mother,"Ma,go and split it in the washroom.Don't you have eyes,we are sitting here and we need some peace".Tears started rolling from the eyes of his mother and she went back to her room.
After a while,the discussion with his collegues over,he went to see his mother.He told her,"Ma,I know you are getting bored in this house,so I decided to move you to an old age were you will have people of your own age and you will have so much of fun".His mother did'nt utter a word and shook her head.Tears rolled down from her eyes.
Finally,he managed his mother in an old age home with a credit card were she can take money as much as she can.
Now, he feels better and started enjoying his life with his wife and child.
One day,late night as he was driving from hospital to his house.Suddenly,the image struck on his eyes.He stopped his vehicle and the image he saw there was a son and a mother sleeping in the veranda of a shop.The son went and tore a flex board lying nearby to keep his mother feel warm during the winter season.The eyes of Ramu is now filled up with tears,he ran towards the car and drove to the old age home.He opened the door of his mother's room and she was looking at the photo of Ramu took during his graduation with tears in her eyes.He ran towardshis mother and touched her feet and hugged her.He whispered to her ears,"Ma,please forgive me".He was crying loudly.His mother replied,"You are my son I don't have any complains,I love you my dear".They both hugged each other and his mother kissed him on his forehead.
Moral: Obey and respect your parents as they are the most valuable,wanted and precious things in the world rather than anything.
