I am a doctor from Wuhan The birthplace of the pandemic I was called to duty by my nation.our leader told our batch to leave if we feared death Ten of us stayed And now I'm the last one left My partner's died in my arms I heard that the virus had clutched the world in its icy grip The whole world might hate my nation . We were ordered to prepare ourselves for the suicide mission to save china I postponed my marriage Told my fiance to be happy and go on with her life if I never return I hugged my parents goodbye maybe for the last time People look up to me like I'm a supernatural being But when I remove my mask and gloves I am just another human Who may not return from this impossible task If I don't then I'll leave the world with a wide smile and a proud soul Because I have served my country and its people to the fullest As it is said DUTY BEYOND DEATH
