The gift of Trees The trees are the most valuable and important means of life on earth. Trees have many benefits for the entire life of our planet. The tree protects us from many natural disasters and in many ways it fosters our lives. It keeps our environment clean and green to the earth, therefore, we are also responsible for them and have to do our best to save them. A tree produces up to 250 pounds of oxygen per year. They provide clean air, food and medicines for humans, they stabilise the soil to avoid erosion. They support thousands of species. They produce oxygen that we need to breathe and they capture carbon from atmosphere to help slow climate change. Trees are providing a home to hundreds of species. Trees are filters for dust, smoke and harmful gases. Tree leaves cool the atmosphere. We need to save trees by protecting them the destructive human activities like clearance of forests, deforestation for urbanisation etc. Trees provide a very peaceful and clean environment. They provide pleasant surroundings and cleans the pollutions in the environment.
