Environment All living things depend on the environment for their survival. So the protection and preservation of environment is a matter of great importance. Unlike other living things man's existence causes a burden on environment. Man lives in nature, exploits it and gives nothing in return. In the case of other living things they have a give and take relationship with nature. During the last two centuries man has made tremendous progress in all fields but all this has been at the expense of the environment. The exploitation of nature has ruined it beyond repair. Man has little awareness of the nature of environment even today. He is still in confusion about the relation he has to maintain with nature. Some argue that protection of environment should not be at the expense of human progress. However it is logical to think that exploitation at this rate could definitely be harmful to the environment. The materials like plastic used by man can make this beautiful planet a desert land one day. That will be the greatest injustice towards the generations to come.
