IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION “A man without education is like a car without wheel” The above proverb clearly point out the importance of education in one’s life. Education is the process to attain knowledge. Education has its own importance. Is is the primary tool of one’s success. It changes ones life. An Educated person is the wealth of the society and family. Education makes the people aware of there responsibilities. Nelson Mandela once said “Education is the powerful weapon we can use to change the world”. Education doesn’t only mean acquiring knowledge from books . It also means acquiring knowledge from our surroundings and life experience . Man desires to attain knowledge but not yet decided to work for it. Acquiring knowledge is a great task ,for achieving this task hardwork and dedication are the essential elements . Education is mainly of two types : formal and informal. An individual get informal education from his family , peer group and society. Whereas formal education from schools and collages. People become more mature through education. There is another proverb which indicates the importance of education “a man without education is a building without foundation”. Education makes a person to be aware of his rights and role in the society.
