Why in the world do you think
The reason you brood in your nest?
The phenomena attacking the chest,
Making you sit on life’s brink
They suggest you drink
Be away from your links.
I fear the world is going to end
Witnessing prices bend;
People aren’t paid
Taxes are still waived,
Fear gripping through each
Like a blood-sucking leech.
It was all a distant fiction,
Pretending it as such
Killing many lives as much
A merciless queen isn’t she!
Creating all of a sudden virus spree
Who’s origin is still nil.
Trepidous are you and me,
Leperous the outbreak
Chain the break, Break the chain:
For us not to vain.
Nature claiming its green,
Oh! It shouldn’t have happened
Birds’ wing joyously flappened
Blue waters glimmering; oh blimey!
Out of the blue, I am wonderstruck
chimey!
Corona- “Nation at emergency”
Dreading deaths everywhere,
Bizzare is the air somewhere.
Curfew here, mere flu there
Precaution here, the same there.
You’re stuck in your house,
Sleeping like a louse,
Clicking on the mouse
Never-ending the browse.
You pretend nothing’s here,
Hiding your fear.
What’s the use
Of staying away from the news?
You snubbed your nose,
You make it welcome.
You spit and spat on the roads,
You alone a foolish load’s.
Very unhappy nowadays
I, you, they, we
Run for our lives
Upto our homes, into your rooms
Soon will the dusk end.
“United we stand, divided we fall”-It goes
Contrary it is, in this prose;
“Divided we stand, united we rise”.
Make it a memory, shall we, so:
Don’t go to the mall,
Nor to the stall,
If you don’t want to fall.
