NASEEM AND THE PRETTY PEACOCK Naseem and the pretty peacock At the weekend Naseem went to the zoo with his mother and sister. He was amazed to see how cute and beautiful all the animals were. He fed some of them and watched others from distance. A naughty baby elephant sprayed water on his sister's dress. Naseem and his mother laughed and continued on their way. "look at the pretty peacock" said Naseem's mother. Naseem and his sister were really impressed by how beautiful the peacock was. "hello Naseem", said the peacock. "I am known as the most splendid looking creature in the animal kingdom" Naseem answered "your tail is really beautiful" "thank you dear" said peacock. "You can enjoy this beauty dear. But my brothers and sisters were killed because of this beauty". "how" asked Naseem. "they were killed because humans need our feathers". "it's really sad" said Naseem... He went to his mother and told everything that happened. "it's OK dear. Our government is planning to create a law Inorder to protect peacocks" his mother said. Naseem was happy when he heard this.
