The time from exposure to onset of symptoms is typically around 5 days but many range from 2 to 14 days. As of 15th April 2020, more than 1.98 million cases have been reported across 210 counties and territories resulting in over 1,26,000 deaths. More than 4,86,000 people has recovered. SPERAD The virus is primarly spread between people during closecontact, often via. Small droplet's produced when breathing out, they usually fall to the ground or onto surface rather than being infection over long distances. People may also become infected by touching a contaminated surface and thin face. The virus can survive upon surface upto 72 hours. RECOMMENTED PREVENTION Recommented measures to prevent infection frequent hand washing maintaining physical distance from others, covering coughs and sneeze with a tissue or inner elbow and keeping unwashed hands away from the face. The use of masks is recommented for those who suspect they have the virus and their caregivers. Currently there is no vaccine or specific antiviral treatment for COVID19. Management involves treatment of symptoms, supportive care, isolation and experimental measures. CONCLUSION The WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION (WHO) declared the 2019 to 2020 CORONAVIRUS outbreak a public health emergency of International concer. On 30th January 2020 and a pandemic on 11th march 2020.
