THE STORY OF A RIVER I am a river. I was born in high mountains ,from melted ice. As I travel down from the mountains. I flow very fast. I am very excited to join the huge sea. As I flow down I entered the hills and plains. After my long journey I reached the sea. I really enjoyed my lovely trip. When I start my journey , I am very young. At that time my water is pure and fresh. When I became old and heavier I began to flow slowly through plains. I gave the most fertile soil to the plains . It is good for cultivation of crops and plants. Dams are built on my body to produce electricity.You throw harmful waste and make us dirty. The water turns black and sticky and it makes me sad. It would be so nice if you kept us clean.
