*Corona - an outlook* Corona is a virus that cause a dread disease named Covid 19. The latin word 'Corona' means 'Crown'. So the shape, It is also the currency of the country Check republic. Corona virus has been first reported on 2003, as SARS. In the 2019-20 era, Corona was reported on 2019 Dec 31. Scientific world named it as n Covid 2019. Its origin is Wuhan in China. To prevent the spread of Corona, Kerala Health emergency declared on Jan 2020. In India, Covid was first reported in Thrissur district, Kerala and spread in 289 districts. PCR ( Polymerase Chain Reaction ) and NAAT ( Nucliec Acid Amplification Test ) are the tests for the recognization of Corona virus. The thing which is really horrible that there is no specific treatment for disease caused by novel corona virus. However, many of the symptoms can be treated and therefore treatments are based on the patient's clinical conditions. Many countries faced social spreading of Corona even the developed countries like US, France etc. But in India we adopted many preventive measures especially in Kerala. In Kerala the cases reported are 369 and death number is very negligible . The preventive measures in Kerala include the usage of Sanitarisor, mask for common people and Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) for the workers in medical field. Kerala is the leading state having cured Covid patients. Researches are going on to find medicines against the virus. Sree chithra Institute for Medical Science and Rajiv Gandhi centre for Biotechnology are struggling to overcome the situation. Also Kerala is the first state in India going to use the Convalacent Sera Technology. ICMR gave permission to Kerala. India organised Parliamentariants with Innovators for India including 14 members of Parliament, for gathering innovative ideas to prevent against Corona Virus. We can protect ourselves and help prevent spreading the virus to others. We should wash our hands regularly 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol based hand rub. Cover our nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or with a mask when we cough or sneeze. Avoid close contact ( must have social distance 1 m or 3 feet ) with people who are unwell. Stay home and self-isolate from others. We should not touch our eyes, nose, or mouth with our hands.
