Living on the edge...... As I got the annual exam time table, I was glad that the best part of the academic year was coming. My mind was like a clock which was cointing off the exam days. The nightmare subjects were on the last. Then came the pandemic of the century as a saviour to the students who hated exams. The hero king was spreading his soldiers to the entire world putting the health risk of the world at stake. And the government forsaw the dangers and exams for lower and upper primary students was cancelled through the state. But alas the government declared that high school and higher secondary exams will go on as planned. The 8th and 9th grade students we're heartbroken as their exams would be conducted as usual. They were playing to the gods of the entire world to give them an early vacation. And their prayers was heard and our exams was cancelled. But consequences was coming behind like a snake trying to catch a frog. As a precautionary method to the pandemic came the national lockdown which made everyone to stay in their homes. At first the lockdown was welcomed by everyone. Then it wasn't going as planned and wasn't joyful. The lockdown was getting bored. The beautiful and silent homes was becoming madhouses. The digital media were harvesting. It was the perfect season to put their shows on which was premiered ages ago. And everyone was getting a wider knowledge about the virus. Every morning I woke up hearing up the scary increasing death tolls. At first it was thousands then it came to lakhs. The only thing that was making me happy was there aren't consequences in our state like the other states or nations. The god's own country was becoming a model to the world government by making route maps and getting the data of the affected. The most powerful and developed countries were the most affected. The most economy was crumbling. Countries are struggling due to the lack of medical equipments. Some threatened other countries for medicines. Some were at peace. The destruction was higher than the world wars. And then came the messages that vaccines to defend the virus is on the way. It may wipe out the entire population. Religious celebrations are celebrated within closed walls. Doctors, nurses and healthcare workers became gods and angels. Social distancing and quarantine turned out as only hopes as there isn't a cure now. Humanity became the religion. We are the mankind which met their own extinction. It may be a pandamic, a deadly virus, but there is an end to everything.
