The Environment The environment is all that surrounds us. It can be a living or a non-living thing. It includes many forces that are physical, chemical and other natural forces. These living things live in their environment. They consistently react with it and adapt themselves according to the conditions in their environment. In the environment, there are various interactions between the animals, plants, water, soil and other living and many non-living things present in nature. Since everything is a part of this environment of something else, we use the term environment talking about various things.
