I was studying in GHSS Chemnad when I first joined Little Kites in 8th standard. At that time, Raghu Sir was in charge of it (I’m not exactly sure what the post is called), but he was really kind and supportive to all of us. Honestly, I didn’t know much about what Little Kites was in the beginning—I just joined out of curiosity. But later, I found out that it was all about learning useful skills like coding, video editing, web designing, and other tech stuff.
As I started learning more, I really got interested. In 9th standard, Suma Teacher became the coordinator, and she helped us a lot. She used to take special classes every day, teaching us coding, poster designing, video editing, and more. Thanks to her, we got pretty good at it, and I felt like I was actually learning something valuable.
There were also camps and competitions, and even though I didn’t qualify at the sub-district level, it was still a great experience. I got to improve my skills and also have fun with friends. In 10th standard, we even made our own games and worked on small projects, which made me feel proud and confident.
Now that it’s over, I feel really thankful for being part of Little Kites. It gave me a chance to explore the tech world, learn new things, and grow as a student. It was truly one of the best parts of my school life.

My Little Kites Journey (Grade 8–10)
Being a part of Little Kites from 8th to 10th grade while I studied in a government school was one of the most memorable parts of my school life. It was more than just a club — it was a space where I explored, learned, and enjoyed every step.
One of the highlights of my journey was getting selected for the sub-district camp, which gave me a chance to learn new skills and meet many inspiring students and mentors. Every moment spent there helped me grow — not just technically, but also personally.
The teachers were incredibly friendly and supportive, always encouraging us to try new things. Because of them, I truly began to enjoy what I was learning. I believe I gained not just knowledge but also confidence and a sense of curiosity that I carry with me even now.
Looking back, I feel proud to have been part of something so meaningful. Little Kites gave me wings, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
