CAGE Locked in the cage of my home. Cursing the daily chores mom gave me. Sometimes I cry ,fears capture me like a scary ghost. But I try to find pleasure in budding plants And in the sketches we draw. Hoping our dying plants come up with new blooms. Focused on washing hands and keeping distance. Scared at the increasing death toll in t.v screen. Firming family bonds and breaking the chain of virus and violence. Finding solace at the incredible service. Of living legends and nightingales Who squeeze out their lives for us. Still I could see the future stars My dream stars again. Wipe out our worries and woes Rise up like a Phoenix.
