ENGLISH CLUB ACTIVITIES
The students presented a skit based on the topic ' Protest Against Violence' .The skit brought forth in every aspect the terrifying impacts of the ongoing violence in our society especially in malabar area.
A choreography was performed by the students based on the poem 'Coromandel Fishers ' by the renowned poetess Sarojini Naidu. The skit presented a real- life picture of the life of the fishermen and their attachment towards the sea.
We have always been a step ahead in enhancing the skills of the learners to use English language. Every year we conduct a residential camp for the learners to help them build up their language skills. Eminent personalities and experts handle the classes and they are also given real life situations to improve their communication skills.
To widen such activities, we are planning to conduct an English Fest , which would be a one -day programme for the whole school. We sincerely hope that this attempt of ours would certainly inculcate in the minds of our students a love for English language.
The Clever Rabbit One day Mikku/rabbit went to a vegetable garden in search of carrots. While he was eating carrots, he heard a barking sound. Mikku was afraid to see a dog behind him. It was the pet dog of the land owner. The dog jumped over him and caught before he could escape. “Please leave me” Mikku cried.
“How dare are you to get into the garden?” the dog shouted. The dog held him more tightly and was ready to eat. Suddenly, he thought of a plan to escape.
“Look, there is a bullock coming running to attack us.”
the moment of the dog turned back, Mikku escaped from him and ran home. Soorya x c V- B
