WORLD WIDE VILLAN CORONA On December 13, 2019 the World Health Organization (WHO) was informed about 44 cases of pneumonia from Wuhan city in China. This was linked to a large seafood and live animal market closed since 1 January 2020 for environmental sanitation and disinfected. On January 9, Corona virus was detected in samples form patients. The WHO confirmed cases of human to human transmission of infection. The virus, identified during the outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan City is named as “2019 Novel corona virus (2019-nCOV)” or Wuhan Novel corona virus. And on 19 February 2020 WHO put a new name for Corona virus that is “COVID-19”. Scientist has founded that this virus original source has found in fruit-eating Bats and Abola and 90% of virus in humans was matching with the virus in Abola.

Now ,Initially about 4,000 cases of death has reported form China and above 5.30 lakh patients at U.S.A only and above 1 lakh has found in Italy, Spain, Germany, England and above currently above 15.60 lakh patients has found in all over the World and nearly 1.25 lakh patients died in all over the World.

SYMPTOMS OF THE INFECTION Human Corona virus is a member of a large group of virus common among animals. Most common

symptoms are fever and cough. Other symptoms are running nose, breathing difficult, shortness of breath, sore throat, headache, diarrhea, etc. Mild to moderate infections are similar to common cold. More serious respiratory infections like pneumonia or bronchitis can occur in these with weakened immune system like the elderly and very young. In severe cases, pneumonia, kidney. Failure and deaths can occur. More serious infections like SARS and MERS can also occur later

SPREAD OF INFECTION The virus is usually transmitted form animals to humans. Buts it can also spread from infected persons to others through: - 1. Air by coughing and sneezing 2. Close personal contact like touching or shaking hands 3. Touching on object or surface with the virus on it then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes before washing your hands 4. Fecal contamination. No antiviral drugs are available for treatment of this infection. Symptoms can be treated. Supportive treatment can be given like oxygen, IV fluids, mechanical ventilation, intubation and antibiotics. PREVENTION GUIDELINES BY WHO Human corona virus infection can be prevented by observing some precautions. The following guidelines are advised by the WHO for prevention of Human Corona Virus infection and reducing the transmission. 1. Washing hands often with soap and or alcohol- based hand rub (hand sanitizer) 2. Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands. 3. Avoid unprotected contact with live, wild or farm animals 4. Avoid close contact with people who are sick 5. If you are mildly sick, stay at home and take rest. Keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water. 6. Cover your nose and mouth when you sneeze or cough with a tissue and throw the tissue in the trash. 7. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. 8. Thoroughly cook meat and eggs 9. If your symptoms worsen, consult a doctor or go to the nearest hospital.
