OUR ENVIRONMENT       In a small village a girl named veena and her family lived. She had a beautiful garden. Veena loved her garden-the beautiful flowers,the tree,the butterfly's, bees ,birds etc... But the garden did not have an apple tree yet So veena went to the market with her mother and brought back an apple sapling She dug a pit in the soil and planted the apple sapling. She watered it every day and watched it grow. Slowly its root went deep into the soil and trunk became thicker and stronger. By and by it grew into a big tree. Birds sat on the tree and chirped happily. The First apple appeared on the tree. Then another and another soon, the tree was full of apples. Veena feel very happy and enthusiastic. She invited all her friends and treated them of bowlful of sweet apples, apple juices etc.. Veena's mother made bottles of apple jam and gave them to her neighbour's.
