MOTHER NATURE She cried and cried for many decades, Unable to fight back selfish humans, One day She lashed out as floods and hurricanes, That broke the backbone of nasty facades!  Mother Nature we exploited and destroyed, And heavy price we must pay now, We cut down trees and build concrete jungles, Shamelessly, relentlessly plundered!  Now in disaster and disease, We lose our Loved Ones, Cruelly murder animals and contract deadly viruses, Give high prices and purchase poisoned foodgrains! We the future, the children must safeguard Her, Make Her green and joyful, Plant trees, clean rivers and recycle and reuse, Let us hurry and wipe Her Tears!
