PREVENTION AGAINST DISEASES ‘A sound mind is in a sound body’ this Greek proverb says the importance of both physical and mental health. Health is something which is very important to us. A healthy body will make us think and do positively. So it is very important to prevent diseases. Presentation is always better than cure so the question arises, is itpossible to cure all diseases? Never, that is not possible but we can do something which help us to control this. Our country India, from a very ancient time onwards was really very much concious about health. But now a days we could see the increase in number of hospitals and doctors along with the increase in population. Everything has developed including the medical field with a vast variety of technology and treatment. Also we could find that there is also a tremendous increase in the number of patients. But what about the number of patients in olden days? It was too less. Everything changed along with the time, environment,fresh air, fresh water etc. That made their change too. If we consider the olden days, the people we so friendly with the environment fields, soil, air and water were their friends. They just protected these for the next generation and never made it polluted. There was a strong bond between earth and man. This bondhelpful than to prevent and cure many of the diseases. But what about today’s condition? Today’s man destroyed everything just for development. The love and bond between nature and man had diminished. A polluted environment welcomes diseases. Due new life style which is just technology friendly than nature friendly made us unhealthy . This unhealthy surrounding with come our un hygeine made ourselves emposed to severe diseasesincluding life style disease so can’t we rethink? We all lnow that our world is now facing a greatpandamic Covid-19. In our country at present it is locked down. All factories and pollution causing agents everything is closed worldwide. This time is a great time for nature as it makes everything in this nature to heal. After this lockdown we will get back our nature which is free from pollution to a greater extend. We must make use this situation as taught us about the importance being nature friendly. So we can now step into a brightworld protecting our nature from pollution is not just a task for it is our need.
