'FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE HEALTH Many factors influence health and some many have both good and bad influence. For example, surface water bodies can beneficial as they can supply water for domestic and agriculture work may be used for fishing and recreation and can create a pleasant environment. However they can also be breeding areas for insects and snails transmit disease such as malaria, dengue fever and schistosomiasis. Pollution of water bodies by human also increases the risks to health.
