THE COSMIC TRAP
Before I give this to you god said,
You take care of it with respect,
And if you did as I told,
It will take care of you as i said!
Every creature rejoiced
I will feed it with love they said,
But MAN stood out of this crowd
"I take it as my own" he said!!
He took care of it just like god had said,
Letting every creature have a part of it.
But as time flew...
So did his greed !
For the treasure god gave him called NATURE!
He slowly used it for himself,
Growing trees of not bark but concrete,
Giving it life from not air but factories,
Filling it with his so called inventions!!
Slowly mens greed flew faster than time
As they wanted the treasure to be not "theirs" but "his"
He faught for it with gases and bullets,
not hurting him ...
But the treasure he adored!!
He slowly forgot about his promise to god,
Destroying every bit of the natures part,
Killing every creature that called them GREEDY
Claiming they were NEEDY!!
As lands became borders and trees became houses,
As air became smoke and soil became sand,
Men built more and more into nature,
Maybe more than it could stand!!
But god looked down and smiled,
After all he was the only one who knew .....
That the rat was buiding a RAT TRAP!!
