Individuals having certain pre existing illness like diabetes , hyper tension , cardio vascular diseases and respiratory issues are at a higher risk of contacting Covid 19 complications . It also aggravates with age as the general immunity reduces as you get older . In the younger generations with no underlying illness , Covid 19 can result in a minor infection provided they have robust immunity and do not engage in activities like smoking . In order to improve immunity the following points are noteworthy. • Improve your diet . • Don't compromise on sleep . • Stay hydrated . • Don't skip on exercises . • Distress yourself . • Practice meditation . • Avoid alcohol and other addictive substances . • Avoid traveling . While the battle against Covid 19 pandemic is fought by our healthcare workers we can do our bit by limiting our exposure to the virus by staying indoors , maintaining social distancing , eating healthy food, and keep hydrated and following hygienic protocol . Most important thing is not to panic while the outbreak is a serious public health concern.
