CORONA VIRUS Corona virus(COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Corona virus.The covid-19 virus spreads primarily through saliva droplets or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes.At this time there are no specific vaccines or treatments for COVID-19.The people affected with covid-19 virus will experience respiratory problems.The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is by protecting yourself and others by washing your hands or by using hand sanitizers.                The official name for the virus responsible for covid-19 and the disease it causes are Corona virus disease (covid-19) and severe acute respiratory syndrome Corona virus 2(SARS-CoV-2).             Most infected people will develop symptoms such as fever, tiredness, sore throat and dry cough. It takes 5-6 days from someone is infected with the virus for symptoms to show. However it can take up to 14 days.       To prevent the spread of covid-19: - clean your hands often. Use soap and water or an alcohol based hand rub. - Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing. - Don't touch your eyes,nose and mouth. - Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough. - Stay home if you feel unwell. - If you have a fever, a cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention - Follow the directions of your local health authority.
