Corona virus

The name comes from the Latin word "corona", which means "crown" or "halo", and refers to the shape of the virus particle when viewed under a microscope. "Corona viruses are zoonotic, meaning they are transmitted between animals and people," the WHO says. The animal kingdom is teeming with corona viruses. They are found in cats and dogs, pigs and cattle, turkey and chickens, mice, rats, rabbits and of course, humans. Insects too. The novel corona virus appears to have originated in bats. A study published in february found the corona virus found in bats shared 96% of the same genetic make up as the novel corona virus. But it wasn't a direct link, so the bat had to have infected another species, which then infected humans.

India is by no means going through a picnic. The entire country is locked down, more stringently than any other in the world, Preparedness and response to COVID-19 have differed at the state level. The best resistance to covid can be seen in Kerala. The entire world is praising Kerala in this regard. It is an effort and cooperation of a lot of people.
