Nature Protection Nature , it's like our mother.She cares us, she concerves and protects us. I strongly declare that the most beautiful thing in our world is nature. Nature give us our primary things such as food, shelter, cloth, water, air etc. 75% of our nature is forests. In this, over 40% of the world’s oxygen is produced by ‘Rain Forests’. The livelihood of the 1.6 billion people are depend on forests. There are many other places which shows the nature diversity. Kerala is one of the important example for this.Kerala is full of different kind of diversities, such as river, valley, waterfalls, etc..Like this there are a lot of undiscovered places that shows the beauty of our nature. But today our nature is polluted to a large extent. If we do not undertake steps to control the pollution it will envelop us. Science and Technology had developed a lot and that make our life very comfortable. The cities has become overcrowded. Thus there result the population explosion. Growth of big industries led to the pollution of air, earth and water. The trees and forests which can maintain the ecological balance has been destroyed. Wild life is fast dying because of deforestation. The rain is falling in the form of acid which we called as ‘Acid Rain’. A few years ago there existed the animals such as Dodo, Elephant bird, Rainbow frog etc... but they are not seen anywhere today. The egg of the Elephant bird is placed in a museum situated in Italy. Have you heard about ‘Red Data Book’. It’s the book which contain the details of the extincted animals such as Nilgiri Thar, Lion Tailed Macaque, Hornbill etc... In Kerala Eravikulam National Park is to conserve Nilgiri Thar and Silent Valley National Park is to conserve Lion Tailed Macaque. r We human beings have only the ability to think and to Do. But people are misusing it and only thinking how can we get money ? And people always are thinking about money, money, money..! Crime rates are increasing only because of money or cash. What a world is this ?!.. If this state of affairs are allowed to continue, very soon no life would be left on this planet. The only solution for this, is Nature Conservation. That is we should replace in nature whatever they take out from it. To remedy this situation, the urgent need of the present times is to plant as many trees as possible and to shift the location of the factories and mills to places where their effect on pollution of the environment is minimized. To control the number of private vehicles on the road, car pools must be made. This will reduce the emission levels from vehicular traffic to the desired level. We already talk about acid rain which is harmful to us. The modern issues like Green house effect and Ozone depletion are also the result of reckless developmental strategy. We must carefully needs and the risks of industrial expansion. Except Nature conservation the Sustainable development also seems to be invalid and practical step for the protection of nature must be taken. The sustainable development ensures development without destroying nature. Thus Nature protection is the need of the hour. Let’s Take Initiative To Implement It Effectively.
