COVID – 19
Corona Virus was first originated in Wuhan in China. “Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus -2” - this is the official name of corona virus. It has been said that there had been more than 300 cases in Kerala, more than 10000 cases in India and nearly 2000000 cases all over the world.
SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19
• Fever, dry cough and tiredness is the main symptoms of this disease but people may be sick for 1-14 days before developing these symptoms.
About 80% of people recover from Covid-19 without any special treatment. But in older people may be more vulnerable to becoming severely ill.
HOW CAN WE PREVENT IT!
• We should wash our hands for 20 sec, with soap and water otherwise we can use alcohol based hand sanitizer.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with your hands if it is not cleaned.
• Use mask and gloves while travelling.
• Avoid close contact with people who have cough or fever.
• Use a handkerchief while sneezing.
• If we have cough or fever please dont go directly to hospital call health care centres.
