SCOUT AND GUIDES
Scouting and Guiding is a worldwide movement aimed at the holistic development of children and youth. Founded in 1907 by Lord Baden-Powell in England, the movement later expanded to include girls as Guides. In India, it functions under the name Bharat Scouts and Guides.
The Scouts & Guides movement fosters physical, mental, social, and spiritual development of young individuals. With the motto "Be Prepared", it inspires students to become alert, responsible, and service-oriented citizens.
In schools, this program helps instill discipline, teamwork, leadership, service-mindedness, and moral values. Through activities like camps, community service, national/state-level programs, and adventure training, students gain essential life skills and a deeper sense of civic responsibility.
The scout n guide units of our school are handled by Athira Varma &Sandya M Nair , Preethy V K& Seema V R .
